Give Me Wings Chp.2

Silk sheets and skin was all that ever existed in their bed. They stayed wrapped up in each other long after they had reach bliss, he prefer it that way same her. He loved this peacefulness that came to him when waking up in the morning. His head laying on her chest, her legs still wrapped around his waist in the morning light. He smiled to himself then slowly pulled himself from her arms. Standing next to the bed, he admired her beautiful sleeping form. That’s my girl he thought to himself and walked into the bathroom. The bathroom would have been the first indicator that she came from money, if he hadn’t seen the rest of the loft. Whirlpool bath tub and a walk-in glass shower, with marble sinks. She had decorated in shades of tans and blue for a beach theme.  He smiled when he walked over to the sink to brush his teeth. Her mirror was covered in her handwriting with words that described her and her friends. He sighed contently to himself and finished brushing his teeth quickly. He turned to the shower and quickly washed himself. Walking back into the bedroom to retrieve his work clothes, he admired her once last time before getting dressed and heading to the kitchen. He grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and then took the note pad from the counter and quickly wrote a good morning note. He slid his shoes on, grabbed his keys and left locking the door behind him.
It was 7:30 when she finally woke up. She turned on her back and stared at the ceiling for a few minutes before looking back at the clock. 7:32 Ok time to get up and get ready gotta meet the girls. She thought to herself. She walked to her bathroom turned on her shower jumped in scrubbed her body down and brushed her teeth. Staring at herself in the mirror, she decided to apply just a little eyeliner to her face then moved to the kitchen. Grabbing a glass from the cabinet and the orange juice from the fridge she poured herself something to drink. After putting the juice back, she turned back to her glass took two slips before seeing the note. She put her glass down, picked up the note and smiled to herself when she read it. Glancing up at the clock she let out a little ah before chugging the rest of her drink down. Grabbing her back and keys she rushed out the door. Locking the door behind her and sliding the note she was still holding into her bag, she head for the stairs not even bothering to wait on the elevator. I’m going to be late enough as it is. She thought to herself with an eye roll. When she got down stairs, she gave a friendly smile to Jason and headed down to the coffee shop near her school.
Her two best friends were there when she finally pulled the door open. She waved as she headed up to give her order to the cashier that her friend describes as tall, dark, and handsome. He gave her a friendly smile as he handed her, her drink and change. She walked over to her friends and their normal table. She was greeted with smiles and hugs. This was their normal routine even before they all moved to California. Back in high school it was a local pizza place and when they were even younger than that it was the park. They had all met in kindergarten when she was the new girl and they all had been best friends since. When they were seniors in school, they decided they would attend the same College. They sat talking until 10:00 when they all had their first class. She made in to class with five minutes to spare so while she wait, she pulled out her note book and music pad and started writing. She was really getting into it when her professor finally walked in. Her music professor was hands down her favorite. She was an older woman who looked like she was in her twenties. She wore glasses and always had her hair up in a ponytail or bun. In other words a librarian and a sarcastic on at that, who had a passion for music and teaching it. For the next hour and half she was in her own world full of music the way she liked it.
When class ended her professor called her in for their weekly meeting, which lasted for about an hour to two. They talked about upcoming term papers, finals, and her summer showcase. They brain stormed on what she could do for the summer scholarship. Summer scholarship was something her and her friends were dying to get. The Arts and Acts Scholarship was a scholarship awarded to freshmen students at the end of their first year. Basically it was a full ride for the next three years of school, an internship after senior year and every summer you get to study abroad which includes flights, hotels, and meals. You could apply solo or with a group and her & her friends decided to do it together. The way they determined the winners were at the summer showcase. Writers’ had to summit a 15 – 20 chapter story of any style to their writing professor the week before finals, Artist had to present a portfolio containing pictures of their personal works, and Musicians had to perform a show on stage the last night of the summer showcase. With finals three weeks away and the showcase starting the week after that her and her friends were starting to get a little nervous. Both her friends had started on their works but she still had another week before she could begin hers. She finished discussing and outlining her term paper with her professor and headed to the library to get started.
When she got to the library her friend was there working on her term paper as well. She grabbed the books she need and headed to the sit right across from her. They smiled at each other and worked in silence. This was something they had always been able to do even in high school. They could work in silence comfortably but their other friend couldn’t. Around 2:30 they both finished their papers and decided to wait for their other friend outside in the courtyard for her class to get out. When they were finally together, they headed to their favorite coffee shop. They ordered their drinks and grabbed their usually table.
“Again I’m sorry class took so long” Earon apologized for the fifth time.
“Stop apologizing” They both said at the same time
Earon just giggled and took a sip of her mocha. Sipping her coffee, Becca looked at the news paper. Livy pulled out her phone, checked the time and sighed.
“J not off yet?” Becca replied not looking up from the paper.
“No” She shook her head. Great even they know when I’m thinking about him she thought to herself.
Earon smiled “So are we going to the game tonight?” Earon just started seeing one of the football players. It was a shocked to their little group. That usually wasn’t her type. She fell for the rocker and punk-rockers most of the time. This guy was completely different.  He made her happy though and stayed faithful which was all they cared about. Becca on the other hand was single as she usually was. She had high standards that Earon and Livy were pretty sure no one would ever be able to meet. Sure she was hit on all the time by guys in her creative writing class and her book club but it was all in vein.
“Don’t we always” Becca answered.
“Not always” Earon replied
“Yes we do. Every time the team plays you ask us the same question knowing you’ll drag us to it anyways” Livy said cocking an eyebrow daring her to argue.
Earon just smiled and threw a balled up napkin back at them. They both laughed.
“Why is there even a game tonight?” Becca asked as they all got up and headed for the door.
“For that matter why is there a game at all. It’s not even football season” Livy chimed in causing Becca and her to both laugh. Earon just rolled her eyes.
“Okay okay okay, so they find it more fun to condition and practice when they do games against nearby school” Earon explain, which caused Becca and Livy to laugh even harder. Earon just rolled her eyes a second time.
“Okay Becca let’s be nice.” Livy finally got out when she was done laughing.
“You know we love you and Kendrick.” Becca replied then arched an eyebrow “What the hell kinda name is Kendrick anyways?” She asked.
“It’s Celtic/Old English” Earon and Livy both answered. Earon smiled at Livy. Livy just shook her head and laughed slightly.
“I don’t even wanna know how you found that out” Becca sighed.

Give Me Wings

She definitely didn’t see this coming. She had been content being with herself and the passing world around but this changed everything, he changed everything. She couldn’t figure out what it was, she only knew something about this was different. Her friends saw the changes but only she could truly understand the depth of what they were doing to her. It wasn’t like those stories were the two people perfect for each other ended up together. Nothing like the books she read about true love or soul mates and for some reason lately she was unfilled when she read those stories; even her favorite love movies couldn’t satisfy her need. She was hungry for something pure, lustful, and downright painful. She was in need of him and all he brought to the picture. She slapped her book angrily and pushes her chair back. She didn’t care about the people who were staring at her or the angry “shhh” she got from the librarian. Picking up the rest of her stuff she slid her bag onto her shoulder and headed for the door. So much for my peace sanctuary she thought with an eye roll. Continuing to beat and belittle herself, she pulled her phone from her bag and looked up his number.  No answer means he’s still at work. She sighed to herself and started walking down the street to her loft. When she finally got to her place she had trouble with her key. Of course! She rolled her eyes. When she did finally manage to get inside, she threw her bag on the end table and headed to her kitchen. Her place was what she refers to as her sanctuary, her place of peace and Zen. Very few were allowed into this house of worship, of which Music Gods and herself were thought of as the higher power. Most people her age couldn’t afford a five foot walk up, let alone a loft but she had received this place as a gift from her grandmother for graduation. She was grateful for her place and the money she received like clockwork every two weeks from her Grandma, though she didn’t need it. She had a job at the record store and lunch was free at the university where she studied but it was nice to have spending money.
After walking around her kitchen countless time she decided to head to the bedroom to change into her camouflage shorts and black tank top to go for a run. When s he got down stairs she said hello   to Jason her doorman and chatted for a few minutes, then she turn her IPod on and started running. Usually on her runs she would think of her firsts. First kiss, first smoke, first drink, first time her and her best friends played truth or dare, first time but lately the only first that would continue to play in her mind were the thoughts of him. First sight, first time they talked, first date, the first time they made out, and to no one’s surprise their first time. As they visions of silk sheets and lustily moans filled her head, she pushed herself to run faster and harder. The more she thought the faster she ran, his hands holding her hips as he thrust harder, the way he kissed down her neck right before he slid in. She turn her iPod up a little louder hoping to drown the memory out of her head but all it did was make the memories themselves become louder as well. Epic fail she thought to herself with yet another eye roll. She continued to run and to her unfortunate luck she let he memories replay. The sun was just beginning to set walk she finally reach her street. As she slowed her pace catching her breath she noticed Jason smiling his friend smile at her. That’s when it hit her. HE’S UPSTAIRS!!!!  She yelled to herself as she ran full speed down the street to her door, gave a breathy hey to Jason who laughed as he held the door open. She came to the elevator press the button ten times jumping from one foot to the next and then decided to take the stairs. She made it all the way up and rounded the corner to her door when she saw him sticking his key into the door. I know somewhere else he can stick something and it ain’t his keys. She thought to herself. He turn around just in time to see her running down the hall way. Putting the back on the floor he held his arms opened and while catching her body with his, he caught her lips as well. He’d never tell but he loved when he got back before her because it gave him excuses for scenes like this. He never was a true romantic until she came along.

The Writings Never Lie.

These are old. Tell me what you think

 Conquences of Love
I'm not surprised you hurt me again. Thats the main goal of our relationship right? See how many times I can bring her to knees? See how many tears will fall from her eyes for me? Last night I cried so hard my pillow was stained. I blamed myself for everything that fell apart. Its like eveything I touch breaks softly. Its the healing touch in reverse. I wont find peace like this. I blamed myself for your mistakes. Its my fault. You couldnt be trusted. You've proven that time & time again. When you look at her, your eyes will see mine. When you touch her, your heart will feel me. Just know never again will I fall for your unique abillity to bring me to my knees. To melt the walls I built so tight around my heart are a conquence of being addict to you. Its a habit I'm forced to break. Without me you'll know no peace. No strength. Only an internal lie of yourself. Its love's version of the Kiss of Death. You died the minute you let her in. I tried to save you. You pushed it away like I was tainted. Never again will I trust you.

& on that night she truely hated him.

She picked herself up off the floor
in her hands holding that over abused heart of hers
Vows never again & wipes away the tears
She gathers whats lefted of her pride
her self-worth & walks out the door.
He thinks he's the one who's kicked her out
but She's the one who's never coming back....

Once Upon A Time is for fairy tales

I promise myself one of these days I swear I'll be free.
I promise myself one of these days My smile will be legit.
One of these days I wont feel so alone.
I'll stop hiding everything I think.

One of these days you stop pretending we're over.
One of these days you'll realize its an tiresome fght.
One of these days you'll wake to discover I'm the one.
The Angel from you're nightmares.

One of these days you see
Our hearts beat closer together than you think.

Conversations & Confessions

(Author's note: Nothing you recognize is mine. It all belongs to SM I'm just running around in her world. Leave me feed back. )

They sat there staring out over the water. The waves were peaceful and the night air was cool and fresh. contentment thats what this was Gabby thought to herself. She sighed and cuddled closer to him....to her Jacob, and smiled as she felt him wrap his arms around her. They did this every thursday night. Sit on the beach and stare at the stars. It was peaceful. No one bugged them here. Tomorrow night would be different. They would go to Sam and Emily's to watch the game and then Jake would have to partol with the rest of them. She hated being apart from him even if it was just for an hour or two. She also hated being stuck with the girls. She had never really enjoyed the "girly" scene. Jake kissed the top of her head and she was back on the beach with him under their stars. She smiled.

"Thanks" she said staring up at him.
"Anytime" Jake replied with another kiss this time on her lips.

They sat in silence again. Gabby's mind wondered, playing her favorite memories back. Truth was this was the first time she had ever felt at home. It wasn't lost on her how completely weird it was that she would find home in someone's arms.....in his arms. Two different worlds completely and yet one wouldn't exist without the other.

"Did you ever think you would imprint on a leech?" she asked after a few more minutes. It was kind of funny if you had a twisted sense of humor.
"No. I didn't even thing it was possible for that to happen." he replied after taking a sip of his drink. He laughed a little "It scared the hell out of my dad when I told him, not to mention how confused we all were."
She smiled. "Paul totally couldn't wrap his head around the thought." she added.

Jake just smiled at her. "I love you."
Gabby smiled back "I love you too"
Jake smiled at Gabby and then looked back at the night sky over the water. Things have never been this peaceful for Jacob in such a long time. Thinking about it, he pulled her closer to him afraid any distance would change things. He was in love with her and he didn't even need an imprint to know that.

"When I was a kid I used to fun across the beach naked" she commented.
"Really?" he replied arching his eyebrow. "That sounds interesting" he smiled
She just laughed which made Jake smile.
"Tell me more" Jake asked, having his curiosity. So much he still didn't know about her.
"What do you want to know?"
"Everything"
"Okay. When I was 4 years old I almost gave Gabriel a heart attack because I decided I wanted to try Cliff-diving. Which normally....probably wouldn't have scared him but I jumped from the top where heand his friends jumped. When he finally pulled me from the water was ready to go again."
"Thats sounds like you"
"I know" she laughed. "After my mom died I was put in a orphanage because my uncle didn't want me and nobody knew where Emily and Gabriel where. So they sent a bunch of us to an orphanage in Chicago. I used to get beat up all the time because I still had family alive. Everybody thought I didn't belong. When I hit 14 I ran away with a guy named Max and a girl name Christy. They both found families along the way but I never did. I did meet with a woman who said she wanted to take me in but when we met in a diner.... it had been weeks since I was able to stay anywhere so I didn't have clean clothes or had a chance to wash myself and she said she couldn't handle someone like me and on her way out left 20 bucks to help out as she put it. "
"That's just wrong" Jake replied. "It wasn't your fault you didn't have a way to clean up. You were 14 FOR CRYING OUT LOUD" Jake yelled. He didn't know this woman but somehow he hated her for the way she had treated Gabby.
"It's okay. I mean if she had taken me in I might not have ever found Gabriel then we would have never found Emily which would mean I wouldn't be here with you" she spoke softly looking down at the ground. Jake put his hand under her chin and tilted her head up to look into her eyes.
"You never have to worry about any of that again I promise" he said leaning in to kiss her. The kiss started off sweet and soft but somewhere between all that passion took over and soon they were both out of breathe. He needed to feel her and she need to feel him. So they both let the fire burn and consume their bodies, while the moonlight pretend to be their candle. Like the story, Fire & Ice existed just like love and lust and there was a fine line between the two and for the night either of them cared. They just let passion sweep them away. like they had wings.

Memories - The best things happen when you're around

(Author's note: I dont own anything you would recongize from Twilight. SM is the Lord & Master I'm just playing in her world)

Growing up was diffcult but always fun. Moving consently from one place to another. Never being able to settle and build a home. It wasn't as bad as it sounded though. Actually this was the way she prefered it. Sure sometimes she missed the familiarity, the idea of home but that was only sometimes. What most people would have thought of as misfortune, Gabby thought of as an adventure. She loved traveling seeing the world but she hated not knowing where she would be sleeping.... but sometimes even that was fun. Ending up in a small town like this wasnt something Gabby even pictured happening. Gabbriella and Gabriel had always stuck to bigger places, tourist attractions. Places that were always looking for people to hired, places is was easy to over-looked. They never stayed longer than a few months. First it was hard on Gabriel to be stuck in one place to long. The animal in him needed to roam as he had always told Gabby. Second being a vampire, Gabby only could be out so long before she would be stuck back inside again. It wasn't like she would die but it would be hard to explain why every time the light in her skin and shimmered and sparkled. Either of them had finished high school. Gabby shook her head, they were an interesting pair, a shape-shifting brother and sparkling version of a vampire sister who posessed many "talents" Gabriel like to call them. Life was crazy.

3 Years Later

"For the fifth time Jake would you move your ass. I don't wanna be late" Gabby called. God he takes longer than a female to get ready.
"One second I coming" Jake called back throwing things around his room. Where the hell is that damn box?

3 Years Earlier

Another dull boring day on the rez, Jake thought to himself. He was in the store looking for something to drink. Jacob and his friends were going to go hiking in the woods, maybe even do a little cliff- diving. They didnt really have a plan ready. He grabbed a couple of bottles of water then walked to the counter to pay for his things. Quil and Embry were waiting for him when he reach the counter. They had six bags of chips, three packs of gum, and four candy bars. "Will this be all for you boys" the cashier asked. The boys just nodded. Paul, Jared, and Sam came in then. All the boys looked at each other. Something was up. Jacob paid for the things they had gathered then walked out of the store threw the bag into the back seat of his rabbit and went to meet the boys who all had walk around back of the store.

"Why didn't you just give the signal?" Jared said the minute Jake caught up with him.
"I did. None of you replied accept Seth" Sam spoke.
"What's up" Quil asked
"Better yet what are we hunting?" Paul replied
"More like where?" Embry laugh.
Jake just waiting for the answer. Sam wouldn't have taken the trouble to find them all if it wasn't something big.
"I caught a sent of a vampire heading in from the south but there was another sent I didn't recongize with her." Sam told them all.
"Another Leech?" Paul asked
"No" Sam replied
"Something else" Jake whispered out loud.
The boys just stared. What else is out there. All the boys had already had their worlds turned upside up because of those flithly leeches that walked the Earth. What more would they have to protect their people from?
"Meet me tonight at the clearing in the woods near the cliff" Sam told everyone.
They all nodded in agreement. That gave the boys enough time to get home and tell their parents that it would be a late night. Well Quil & Jake anyways. Embry's parents didn't know about the fact their son was a werewolf. Embry didn't plan to tell them either. Jake jumped in the rabbit and headed off to his house. 20 minutes later Jacob stop in front of his house. He grabbed the bag of snacks he had bought from the store and went in to tell Billy what was up.
"I don't know how long I'll be tonight" Jake replied as he headed for the door.
"Ok. Be careful son" Billy asked.
Jacob headed into the forest behind his house, stripped his clothes off, tied them around his ankle and shifted.
The minute in wolf form he could hear his friends. The all started running towards the meeting grounds
"Any idea where we should start looking" -Embry
"Nope"-Paul
"We'll start where I first caught the scent of the blood-sucker"-Sam
They all ran full speed towards the spot Sam had caught the scent. Jacob, Quil, Embry, and Seth stayed quiet the whole run. Suddenly Jacob caught the scent stronger than before heading towards the beach. The wolfs tense at the smell and ready themselves for a fight. As they got closer something pulled at Jakes body and Soul. Whatever it was nobody else felt it. Jakes eyes fell on the Vampire's shadow as they neared.
"A girl no older than seventeen from her looks" -Embry
Jake just nodded. At that moment she turn and Jake and the vampire girl locked eyes.

3 Years Later

There it is Jake thought to himself. He put the small box in his pocket and headed towards the front door.
"Finally" Gabby sighed smiling teasingly. "I thought I was going to have to leave you behind on a leash" She laughed
Jake smiled "hahaha you're so fucking hilarious. Anyways ready?"
Gabby just stared "I've been standing here yelling for you to hurry and you dare ask me if I'm ready? You must wishing for death" She flashed her teeth. Jake laughed as he held the door open for her. As the drove to the bonfire Jake noticed Gabby was really quiet.

"Something wrong?" -Jake
"Huh? Oh no I'm fine" Gabby replied
"Then whats on your mind?" he asked
"I was just remembering that first night" she smiled at him
He smiled too. Both their lives changed that night. "Thats probably the best night of my last" he said.
"Second best in my book" she smiled.
Confused he asked "What's the first?"
"That night we ended up sleeping in this car" she said looking at the car.
"That was a good night but I think I liked the beach better." he smiled and with one hand on the wheel, pull her close to him, kissing the stop of her head as they continue to the cliff.

Make You Or Break You (Quotes)

If you love them. Be with them. Love isn't easy. You fight, you cry, you say things you don't mean because your scared, but when it all boils down to it.. you can't be without that person because live would never be the same. Always remember, anything worth having never comes easy.

Girls are made out to seem like crazy love sick fools

The reason I don't talk to you anymore is because I keep telling myself that if you really wanted to speak to me you would

I have learned that pleasing everyone is too hard but pissing people off is a piece of cake.
